Dec. 29, 2007 — The final Top 50 for 2007

My apologies for this being so late, but compiling this list is more and more difficult every year. It was particularly difficult this season because there were so many circular results as well as some head-to-head matches which did not get reflected in this Top 50.

To wit:

Didn’t Selinsgrove (Pa.) beat Mifflinburg (Pa.) three times this season?
Yes, they did. But Mifflinburg made into the state championship game and Selinsgrove didn’t.

Didn’t Voorhees Eastern (N.J.) defeat Emmaus (Pa.) this season?
Of course. I was there. But Eastern fell to Summit Oak Knoll (N.J.) a scant three weeks later.
