Just as we thought some sanity had returned to youth sports this week with the finding that artificial turf is safe for the youth of America, apparently one location in a state which begins its field hockey play in only a few weeks has gone deep over the edge.

Oldham County in Kentucky, a place with varsity field hockey teams in the towns of Crestwood and Goshen, isn’t allowing its field hockey players to take their sticks with them when they go on a school bus.
