This afternoon, Adelphi embarks on its defense of the NCAA Division II women’s lacrosse championship when it meets Rollins College.
The game is at Rollins, which is in Winter Park, Fla.
I guess this whole thing about starting the U.S. college season for lacrosse in February is no longer limited to Division I.
Sure, it’s good to have a championship-level team playing in a warm-weather climate where the supporters aren’t going to feel like icicles after the game.
Doesn’t mean it’s right.
