Sept. 25, 2015 — Friday Statwatch for games played through Sept. 23

Hi, all. Back at you with Statwatch on this Friday morning.

Just to remind you that this space reflects games through the end of play the previous Wednesday. I encourage coaches and student managers to register for and use the MaxPreps.com platform, and we encourage you to get your fellow teams to enter their information there as well so that we can aim for as complete a statistical picture of the country as we can.

This week, we’d like to give a shout to a player that we didn’t see on our radar, but, fortunately, a Final Four team did. Senior Alyssa Curtis of Camden (N.Y.) is already up to 118 goals in her career, one which includes varsity play in middle school. She’s developed an all-around game that has her matriculating to the University at Albany next year, and I think she will be a fine addition.

Here’s what we’ve compiled thus far, thanks to, amongst others, MaxPreps.com, Advance Media, The Harrisburg Patriot-News, The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, MassLive.com, The Washington Post, The Reading Eagle, Newsday, and The Ann Arbor News:

Here’s where my eagle-eyed readership comes in. If you see something missing, by all means send us an email at TopOfTheCircle.com. Please refer to a person or a bit of documentation (a website will do) so that we may double-check. Friday Statwatch is the kind of feature that we can adjust as time goes on. Thanks for reading, and we’ll do it all over again in a week.
