UPDATE: Bracketology 2015, Nov. 6, 2015, 8 p.m.

Wow. A day featuring six overtime games has jumbled our “bubble” area, if you go by the Ratings Percentage Index as calculated by FieldHockeyCorner.com. The overtime win Michigan pulled off today against 10-woman Penn State will, I think, help the Wolverines clinch an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.

I think there’s one other thing to note about the RPI ratings that you don’t see here: the top six teams — six! — are all from the ACC Superconference. That would make the edge of the bubble between 13th and 14th in the RPIs; in other words, if form holds, Stanford and Louisville would be in, and Liberty would be the first out.

Tomorrow, there are seven matches that will directly influence the RPI ratings. We’ll be at Princeton-Penn, which will be held, appropriately, at high noon.

Team RPI
10 Princeton 0.606
11 Michigan 0.605
12 Stanford 0.600
13 Louisville 0.599
14 Liberty 0.590
15 Delaware 0.578
