Nov. 1, 2016 — Top 10 for the week of Oct. 30

We don’t have much movement in the Top 10 this week, mostly because the majority are in pre-state tournament action: district tournaments in Pennsylvania and regional play in Virginia. However, there is likely to be a lot of action the next few weeks because six of our top 10 are likely to encounter each other in their respective state tournaments.

Our No. 11 Team of the Week is Morristown (N.J.). Two weeks ago, the Colonials won their first Morris County Tournament since 1991 with a 1-0 win over Chester West Morris Central (N.J.). None of the current members of the Morristown varsity were born the last time a Colonials team won the county championship.
